Doubt is huge. You really unpacked it with so much clarity.

I never thought about checking to see if I thought that was protecting me from some thing and then to look further how is it protecting me at all?

Wonderful essay

I’m new here as well and I imagine that you could break this into smaller chunks for notes and lead people to the larger article. I could be wrong but given attention spans these days?

I’ll see you at the campfire !🔥

Thanks, Sean! It is a daily practice for me these days: building the habit of doubting my doubts.

Thank you for sharing this article Kristin! It's a great invitation to dive deep into doubt and what it means to us.

In my personal experience, I can use doubts as a driver to make sure I have all the information I need before I moved forward. I use them as part of my process, just not as a STOP sign.

Doubts can stimulate questions and an opportunity to find the truth in a situation, so I can move without hesitation. But many times, I have to remind myself that's what doubt means!

I love your second question: What possibilities are my doubts hiding from me?

Our doubts can strongly color our perspective, and just as you didn't see the success of your app (why even look?), doubt can so easily make us hide our results from ourselves. We don't even see what doesn't fit our narrative about who we think we are or not and what we think we can and can't do.

As you showed, it's definitely time to "doubt our doubts'!
